For website operators
SpamCatcher is a paid, persistent secondary mailbox service.
It is not a public temporary inbox.
Service characteristics
Each mailbox is tied to an authenticated account.
Addresses are not publicly readable.
Addresses are not generated anonymously per request.
Previously assigned addresses are not reassigned to another customer.
SpamCatcher does not provide outbound SMTP, compose, or reply.
Receiving and validation behavior
SpamCatcher accepts mail only for active, provisioned recipients.
Unknown recipients are rejected.
The service does not operate an unrestricted public catch-all mailbox for arbitrary recipient local parts.
Abuse controls
The service applies account and endpoint rate limits.
Accounts may be suspended for abuse.
Operator workflows include abuse-case handling, legal-hold controls, and auditing.
Domain compatibility and continuity
Some websites may reject specific domains.
When needed, SpamCatcher can offer alternate receiving domains to affected customers while preserving existing account continuity.
Domain changes are not presented as a way to bypass merchant policy.
